Ben Tackie also axed for August 8th! Lenin Arroyo steps in to fight Mike Jones @ Bally's

Stick a fork in LA's Larry Mosley, he is done...again! He was forced to withdraw from fight fight about 10 days before bell time, this time due to blood poisoning. In a swift move, promoter J. Russell Peltz quickly inserted tough but fading journeyman Ben Tackie as the replacement. That idea lasted for about 2 days. Tackie failed his medicals and won't be allowed to fight. At the zero hour, Mike Jones (17-0, 15ko's) now falls back to plan C, and will fight Lenin Arroyo (20-9-1, 4ko's) of Florida via Costa Rica in the 12 round headline attraction on August 8th at Bally's casino in Atlantic City for Jones NABA title.
To Arroyo's credit, he has never been stopped in 30 pro fights and in his only match against a signature opponent, Arroyo went the 8 round distance against contender Randall Bailey in a losing effort. Arroyo may not be a known name and may not pose a whole lot of a threat, but hey at least the show isn't cancelled and this is usually the type of fight where MJ scores one of his signature clock cleaning KO's...
